Choosing a venue for your corporate event can be a daunting task. Right from choosing central location to size of the hall to parking space- many factors are to be kept in mind before you select a meeting /conference hall for your corporate event.

#1 Size: Before you start hunting for an event venue, make sure you know the number of people expected at your gathering. Start hunting for venues that would comfortably fit in the number of guests you are expecting to attend your event.

#2 Budget: This is again a crucial aspect before you zero in on a hall/venue. Make sure you are aware of the budget allocated for the event. Find out the breakup in terms of venue, food and beverage, entertainment and so on.

#3 Availability of the Date: Keep a tentative date in mind before you start looking for an event hall. Some banquets/halls are pre-booked or occupied during the wedding season so make sure you start shortlisting a hall well in advance.

#4 Location: Based on how big is your event and if you are expecting delegates from outside the city, look for something that’s central or closer to airport/railway station.

#5 Parking Space: Parking can be tough in cities like Bengaluru, so ensure that there is plenty of car parking space at your event venue. If not, the venue should at least offer valet parking services for the convenience of your guests.

#6 Other Amenities: Depending on the nature of your business or corporate event, check if the venue you have shortlisted offers other amenities such as uninterrupted wifi, latest AV aids, in-house catering, etc.
